Letter from the President

For a long time, the relationship between human beings and their environment was balanced, just like that of many other living beings. The evolution of the human species, especially the scientific and technological progress of the 20th century, has caused an imbalance with the environment accompanied by a process of environmental degradation. Environmental degradation is palpable today and human beings are becoming aware of the existing environmental problems. The current situation requires a change that can lead to the emergence of a new culture, a new organization of human relations, a new anthropogenic activity with the biosphere that modifies the current management of the environment towards a management that is favorable to the environment and to ourselves.

Also, another of the great concerns of human beings is their health. Although scientific and technological progress has allowed us to extend life expectancy, our current interest is focused on improving the quality of life. Emerging diseases, the probability of contracting cancer, autoimmune diseases, obesity, diabetes, rare diseases, etc. They are disorders that concern us.

Scientific and technological training with a focus on environmental protection and a healthy lifestyle can be two great preventive instruments compared to the current corrective instrument, so that future generations are able to find environmentally friendly solutions and healthy lifestyles that improve their life expectancy and quality of life.

At Ambientech we believe that conscious education is the key to achieving this improvement. That is why we want to contribute our small grain of sand through an educational program that disseminates and facilitates the learning of science for all young people, a free access program that unites science and the environment and science and health to promote future generations that are friendly to the environment and health.
